I'm always on the lookout for good values in cycling apparel. This jersey had caught my eye so I added it to my watchlist. Then the price started coming down. When it hit thirteen I pulled the trigger and purchased it. I'm 5'10" 158lbs with a 38" chest. In most jerseys a medium fits comfortably, but I was looking for a tight jersey for aerodynamics. The chest size on the chart indicated I should order a small, so I did. It fits reasonably well. The chest size is just about right. The torso is maybe slightly short on me, but as long as I am wearing bib shorts, it isn't a problem. The material is slightly stretchy and has a nice tight fit without being so tight it restricts breathing. The only place fit is a problem is the cuffs on the arms: It is very tight around my biceps. I didn't think my arms were particularly big and muscular, but that tight fit is a good ego boost! As I mentioned, the material is slightly stretchy, but not quite like a compression shirt. If I get out on my aerobars with my arms together, the material does slightly bunch up in the front becoming less aerodynamic. The material feels nice and is just the right thickness. The Radar Red is bright and hopefully helps keep me visible to drivers. The build quality seems to be very good- no issues there. After purchasing, I watched the price on the small continue down to eight and then it jumped up to fifty. I missed my chance to get another, but then the price on the medium started dropping, so I got one of them when it hit eight. The fit is somewhat looser on me and doesn't stretch tight across the chest, but it is still comfortable. The arm cuffs fit better on this jersey. In conclusion, this is a steal in the single digit price range and a great deal in low double digits. I give it 4 stars based on performance and +1 for the great value.Great jersey!I already have one garneau and one canari jersey. What I like about the canari over the garneau is fewer seams in the torso and the fact that they are flat. I also like the fact that I got it at a sporting goods store for about half the cost of the canari “exert”. Unfortunately the costlier exert has more seams in the torso area that I was hoping would be absent like my current canari Jersey. It is more like the garneau. Guess I just have to buy jerseys locally so I know what I am getting. However the fit is what I was expecting for a medium if that is of any help.
