Our Jack Russell Terrier needed to be able to take part in game day festivities. We thought the best way for her to show her support for the Buckeyes would be with her own jersey. We did some research and found this jersey to be attractive and of a decent price. The product arrived and appeared to be well-made. The colors were bright and this seemed like a product I would like to put on my dog. The fit on my dog, however, did not meet my expectations. It constantly slipped and our dog ended up wearing a very long OSU skirt rather than a jersey.I used the sizing chart included by another customer, which indicated my dog required a medium. The medium is much too large for my Jack Russel who is about 11 pounds but fit the measurements specified by the manufacturer. Even if you have the sizing chart, I question its usefulness. An example: When I scrutinized the sizing chart, I noticed that a Labrador Retriever also requires a medium. Typically, Labradors are decent sized dogs -- much larger than a Jack Russell. How can a Labrador and a Jack Russell require the same size? A puppy Labrador Retriever may require a medium but that is not indicated by the sizing chart. Nothing says this is a jersey solely for puppies.I suppose a person could order two of these jerseys and hope one fits and return the other or give the other away. That, of course, requires time and more investment. In order to make my dog's jersey work, I attached a piece of velcro to the jersey and looped the velcro around her collar so the jersey will not slip as much. It isn't the most attractive solution but it makes the jersey usable for the occasions we put it on her.I think if you can get the right size, you will be pleased with this jersey. Otherwise, you will probably have to return it like so many others or do some modifications with velcro and a sewing needle. For those that may have difficulty reading the sizing chart that was shot in color, I've uploaded a couple of photos in black and white. For those that care about country of origin, this product is made in China. The small fits perfectly on my pompoddle who is about 12 pounds. Can't wait to have him wear it during game day!Could have used a “small” size instead of “very small”Well, this is Really, Really Cute 'on.' It does run super-small, though; I got a 'Large' for my cocker who weighs about 35 pounds, and it is a tiny bit tight around the shoulders/back-of-the-neck. I think that is more because of the way it is made, though...the 'arms' stick out to the side like people-shirt arms, but you would think they would be more dog-shaped, hm. Also, I did not get the shirt as pictured....my 'Alabama' shirt has number 00 instead of the 31 shown. But, whatever. The mesh is very football-jersey-ish, and it made my husband laugh and laugh, so that's worth the price. This was in our Jack Russell's Christmas Stocking from Santa this year, and he has happily worn it on Christmas Day, a few days later watching the Terp's Bowl Game, and now continues to wear it during various basketball games. Although we usually aren't like those who enjoy dressing up their pets, this item has made it impossible to resist! This jersey was exactly as described. It is made with quality, washes great and the sizing chart was very accurate. We also enjoy that it happens to mimic one of my husband's jerseys perfectly. And the price is terrific ($19.99) as I debated on purchasing this product months ago at Petco, but decided against it when their price was $34.99!I believe this same manufacturer on Amazon makes similar jerseys for other college and pro sports teams. If you want to share some fan excitement with your family pet, you won't regret this purchase! Go Terps!!!We got this in a size small for our 5.5lb maltese and it fits great! A little loose but I wouldn't want it any shorter. I don't know what kind of dog would fit into an XS. The shirt says "Michigan State" on it instead of "State" as shown in the picture but everything else is the same. I love the little V-neck in the front. Construction is decent, although it did have a loose thread as soon as I put it on the dog and there are a few errors here and there. The cuffs are high quality cotton and the mesh is nice. Stitching around the spartan head icon isn't quite straight but it is a dog shirt after all. Very cute for game days! It's a lightweight breathable mesh fabric that looks just like a tiny football jersey....for your dog. What's not to love about it? I have a slightly chunky 22 lb Schnauzer who always looks like he's being tortured when I put a shirt on him (Mediums are too tight, Larges are too big, what's a girl to do?). This jersey fit him perfectly AND as a bonus he doesn't overheat when he wears it during football season here in South Carolina. Now my best friend can proudly show his love of the GA Bulldogs without being strangled by his clothes. Go Dawgs!I very carefully measured my dog, a long-haired Gordon setter mix, before buying this jersey. I also did some googling to find other ways to measure before ordering, and everything I found indicated that my dog, who is around 46 pounds and 20 inches long from his neck to his tail, would be a large. But he's not. This jersey is too tight, and my dog looks like he's stuffed into a Longhorns sausage casing. It is particularly tight around his front arms area. Fortunately, it is not so tight that he's uncomfortable, and I think he rather likes the compression. Unfortunately, they do not sell an extra-large here that would make it look better. On a side note, we made the mistake of leaving it sitting within snout reach, and my dog chewed some holes into it when we weren't looking. Can't blame him, though, because it did smell like him so he thought it was his.Great but medium was too small for my frechie
