I also own the white version of this skirt in cotton and after several years of wear, it does require a touch up with the iron after laundering. Always get compliments on it too. SO, I decided to try the black in jersey fabric to avoid the dreaded iron! It is so soft and not at all see through like the white cotton version (slip/shorts required with the white). Launders nicely on delicate/cold and then hang to dry. The jersey fabric pairs nicely with tee or collared shirt and my denim jacket. I will be wearing this a lot this summer into fall and recommend it as a slightly edgy basic that sets the skirt apart from all the rest!
