What can I say, they are like a thin sweat-shorts. They aren't the softest but they are 7/soft. As soft as "100% other fibers" can get. I imagine they are made from industrial dryer lint. Whatever the case I ordered Large and they come right to the knee on me - I'm 32L pant size. They look great and feel great. I always wanted comfy shorts to lounge around home in that wasn't basketball shorts or just my bare undies. That's why I chose these. I liked them so much I ordered TWO of them. It'll be like a change of underwear now. In fact, what prompted me to order the second pair was the fact I couldn't find the first pair for like a day. I have separation anxiety now, that's how much I love these shorts. On the downside, things will fall out of the pockets when you sit down, for example: to try out an old, beat-up chair. Had it happen to me in a Goodwill. The manager didn't really care that I lost my eyeglass case. I had to fight a little Hispanic boy for them, but I eventually caught up to him where he tripped over an old lady's cane. She wasn't using it, thank God! Other than that, great shorts. Now I need to find something for the Winter months, so I don't get cold knees.For me I wear a size 40 in shorts and Jean's and XL fit a little too big for me. I could have fit into a large but got a great deal on the xl so I'll just keep them to chill in. I'm hoping as another reviewer stated they shrunk for them in the wash,so if they do then they will fit even better.I bought these as at-home shorts, but have used them a few times at the gym for working out. They're very comfortable, but I wouldn't necessarily call them "light-weight" since they aren't as bulky as regular sweat material shorts, but not as light as some thicker dry-fit shorts I have worn. Still good value in what I paid for them, just wish they were maybe a little lighter.I am 6'6, 228, with a 33" waist and the L fits me pretty well. Standing they run down almost to the top of my kneesThe biggest thing is these shorts are made from a t shirt material not your normal shorts material. I use these for the gym and enjoy the material for that, but it does retain sweat more than normal shorts and would be hot outside in the heatThe three stripes of the big side logo is matte black in color and blends in pretty well with the shorts just so you know if that matters for your gym "style"Very comfortable.Great value, love the material they’re made with and I strictly have a pair for when I’m just lounging around the house.Accountable, well made and just all-around nice shorts. The logo is pretty big though.Husband has been looking for a new pair, and could never quite find the same fit as his old ratty pair. These are his new favorites. Great fit and look good.
